Travel & Stay
Catalina Island is accessible by boat, helicopter & plane! The ferry from Long Beach is the most popular way to travel to the island.
To fully experience the wedding festivities, we recommend arriving on Saturday (the day before the wedding). See below for information on how to to get to Avalon, where to stay, and how to get around!

where to stay
book a place to stay in avalon asap!
this is the main town on catalina where all activities will take place.
Since there are so many great places to stay, we’ve decided not to reserve a room block to give everyone more flexibility. However, if you choose to stay at Hotel Atwater, we do have a 10% discount code available. For those looking for the most affordable option, we recommend exploring house rentals, or Hermosa Hotel, Seacrest Inn, Glenmore Plaza, and El Terado Terrace.
how to get around the island
by foot
Easily accessible on foot. It’s fun to meander around the city streets and take in the sights and sounds of this charming beach town.
by golf cart
This will be an option if your house rental includes the use of a golf cart. If not, carts are available for 1-2 hour rentals.
by taxi
Available from the Catalina Island ferry terminal, as well as the taxi stand located on the corner of Crescent and Metropole Ave, taxis service all areas of Avalon.
